Upcoming Events  

As part of its work promoting organic and sustainable textiles, Organic Exchange Europe will participate in seminars at several trade shows in Germany and France to raise awareness and assist textiles brand to develop their sustainable sourcing strategies.
Brands and retailers are more focused than ever on product innovation in pursuit of the goal of reducing environmental impacts. Organic Exchange has become a trusted voice in this confusing market.
Organic Exchange Reports have become the most reliable resources, providing useful tools for decision-making on sustainable textiles. The 2009 Organic Cotton Farm and Fibre Report (on organic cotton) will be launched soon, and the Market Report will follow during 2010.

The Key ToBe part of the shift – Berlin, Germany - January the 20th to the 23rd http://thekey.to/exhibitor/
The key was launched in July 2009. Its beginning goes back to the visionary idea of an international team of interdisciplinary professionals who decided to give birth to the first international event for green fashion, sustainable lifestyle and culture in Berlin.
The first event included 35 fashion exhibitors, 50 brands and 20 sustainable designers ranging from street and casual wear to more upscale labels. It was attended by 2500 visitors.
The key offers not only the opportunity to meet with green brands in Berlin, but also the chance to participate in a very interesting program designed to give you the most up to date information. InnatexInternational Fair for Natural and Organic Textiles. Hofheim-Wallau, Germany - January the 30th to February the 1st http://www.innatex.de/
This is 26th Edition of Innatex. The meeting point for those interested in the trends and innovations in organic fibres will be at the Ardek Centre.
At INNATEX 26, the focus this year is on transparency. Innatex reflects the strong desire of the natural textile market to shed greater light on the traceability of the entire production chain for the consumer.

As in the past several events are being held in parallel to the exhibition dealing with different aspects of, and developments in the sector. One of these events will be focus on Textiles. The Textile Forum will take place from the 18th until the 20th. Andy Salm – EU Outreach Director of Organic Exchange will be taking part in a Workshop about Organic Cotton on the 18th at 10:00am with another 2 members of Organic Exchange Peter Tschannen (Remei AG), Satish Chukkapilli (Zameen India) as well as Alexandra Perschau of Pesticide Action Network and Tobias Meier of Helvetas.
It's an ideal event for discussion, debate, information sharing and exchanging, and networking. We invite you to visit the stand of our member Sekem in the Demeter Stand Hall 7.
